This is a war map of Europe, published by the Daily Mail newspaper at the start of World War 1 in August 1914.
It lists the allied countries of Great Britain, France and Russia (the Triple Entente) and the enemy countries of Germany, Austria and Italy (the Triple Alliance) top left.
On the right it shows how powerful the armies, navies and air forces of each country are, and how much money they have to fight the war.
The idea was that as the armies fought each other, you would stick pins in the map of Europe to show where the fighting was taking place and which countries were winning.
What actually happened is that the fighting got bogged down in the trenches very quickly.
So the pins would hardly have moved on the map for nearly 4 years - from the autumn of 1914 right through until the middle of 1918.
