Children use Learn with Objects to investigate the important contribution made by people from around the world in WW1 including Canadian soldiers, the Gurkhas and the Chinese Labour Corps.
This is also a great starting point to investigate the contributions of other BAME communities in the First World War including soldiers from Africa, India and the Caribbean.
Children can also explore the important contributions of BAME servicemen born in the UK such as Walter Tull.
